Wir vom Team myLINCOMA.com suchen wieder Redakteure für sämtliche Themenbereiche. Sei es von Software über Hardware zu den Gaming News weiter zu den Szene News.

Das Arbeitsgebiet umfasst im wesentlichen folgende Aufgaben:

  • News verfassen, Interviews leiten und weitere Tätigkeiten
  • Mitarbeit an der konzeptionellen Weiterentwicklung des bestehenden Formates der myLINCOMA Webseite

Mindestvoraussetzungen:

  • Möglichst gute bis sehr gute Deutsch Kenntnisse (in Wort und Schrift)
  • Erfahrung als Redakteur/in wären von Vorteil!
  • Interesse am eSports, Gaming und Szene
  • tägliche Erreichbarkeit sollte gegeben sein
  • mindestalter 17 Jahre

Mafia II erscheint in Deutschland unzensiert!

Wie nun das Portal News4Press berichtete, erscheint das Gangster-Epos Mafia II hierzuland komplett unzensiert und und geschnitten! Da lacht das Gamer-Herz, der Haken an der Geschichte ist nur, dass im Gegenzug nur Hobby-Ganoven über 18Jahren sich das Spiel zulegen dürfen.

Mafia II wird derzeitig von 2k Czech entwickelt und versetzt den Spieler ins Amerika der 1940er und 1950er Jahre. Es wird einefilmreife Umsetzung im großen Hollywood-Stil. Die Geschichte handelt von einen Italo-Amerikaner Vito der ein Leben in Armut entkommen will. Zusammen mit seinen besten Freund Joe steigt er in die Welt des organisierten Verbrechens ein und beschert uns damit eine Menge Schießerein und Verfolgunsjagden.

Wir säubern schon mal den Baseball-Schläger.

Source Updates erschienen

Vor wenigen Tagen erschien das große Source Update Paket für Counter Strike Source. Neben dem Archivementsystem und weiteren Erneuerungen gibt es auch leider viele Probleme…. Mit diesen Update werden die damit gefixt.

Fixed several problems with missing textures in community maps.
Fixed a crash that could occur when stats get updated.
Fixed a crash that could occur when displaying the scoreboard.
Added “cl_show_achievement_popups”, a convar that is on by default. Turning it off disables in-game achievement announcements.
Restricted the range of commands that servers can cause clients to execute when closing the MOTD.
Server admins will need to change the “cmd” key from a string to one of the following ints:
0 for no command
1 for joingame
2 for changeteam
3 for impulse 101
4 for mapinfo
5 for closed_htmlpage
6 for chooseteam

@Engine:

Fixed an exploit that allowed a plug-in to be loaded as a .dll file on the client after being downloaded from the server.

Removed an exploit that allowed players to change their in-game name outside of the Steam Community

ArmA2: Patch 1.07 released

Noch genau 3Tage trennen uns bis zum Release von Armed Assault 2: Operation Arrowhead welches als Stand Alone Version am 29.06.2010 erscheint. Dann können wir wieder in den virtuellen Konflikt ziehen der in Takistan spielt aber dennoch stark an Afghanistan erinnert. Als kleine Entschädigung gibt es von Bohemia Interactive, als wieder gutmachung für den schlechten Start von Arma2, die deutschen KSK Truppen.

JD_2020 & Hank Keirsey im Gameswelt.tv Interview

Im Rahmen der E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) 2010 in Los Angeles letzte Woche wurden gleich mehre Interviews mit JD_2020 geführt, was zu sehr interressanten Material führte. Nun wurde ein Interview mit Gameswelt.tv gefunden, was geführt wurde und das sogar mit deutschen Untertitel!

Es wurde auch Hank Keirsey, seines Zeichens militärischer Berater für die Call of Duty Reihe tätig und das Interview wurde mit einer Flasche Heineken in der Hand geführt.
